The University of York is facing a fine of over half a million pounds, after it enrolled too many students this year.

The new Vice-Chancellor and his department have claimed £15,000 on credit cards and expenses during his first term in charge. These expenses include thousands of pounds on furniture, purchases from the Apple Store, trips abroad, and online shopping.
